Thanks for your comment. Some inflation is indeed healthy enough, and should not cause any concerns for regular people.

It's also correct that wage inflation is an important metric in economic policymaking, although the central inflation measure the FOMC targets is the PCE inflation.

Nonetheless, inflation has important implications for investments and debt - therefore the inflation outlook is an important metric for people when making financial decisions.
